Overview

Spin Online Wheel, available at spinonlinewheel.com, is designed to work without an account. Wheel entries, settings, result history, and imported background images are processed in your browser and are not sent to our servers as part of the normal wheel feature. We do not provide cloud synchronization for wheel data.

Data stored on your device

The site uses browser storage to remember your theme and each wheel you edit, including its settings and result history. This data stays in the browser profile on the device where you created it. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls. Exported wheel files are saved only where you choose to download them.

Do not enter confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal information into a wheel. Anyone who can access your browser profile or an exported wheel file may be able to read its entries.

Technical requests and logs

When you visit the site, our hosting, delivery, and security infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as your IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or device details, referral information, and error or security events. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, maintain security, and diagnose failures. Retention depends on operational needs and provider settings.

Analytics and browser identifiers

We use Plausible Analytics in production and may also use Google Analytics when configured. These services can receive page URLs, browser and device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral source, and interaction events. Google Analytics may read or set cookies or similar browser identifiers, subject to its configuration and your available browser or consent controls.

We do not intentionally send the text of your wheel entries or your locally imported background images to analytics services as part of normal wheel use.

Files and images

Imported wheel files are validated in the browser before use. Supported background images are converted to local data stored with the wheel. The site does not upload those files as part of the wheel feature. Sharing an exported file is your own action and responsibility.

Service providers and disclosures

Hosting, security, and analytics providers process limited technical information for us. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the service or its users, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. We do not sell or rent the contents of your locally stored wheels.

Children and group use

Teachers, parents, and facilitators should avoid putting children's full names or other sensitive identifiers into shared devices, screenshots, recordings, or exported files. Use first names, initials, or temporary labels where practical.

Security and retention

Browser storage is convenient but is not a secure vault or guaranteed backup. Clearing site data, using private browsing, changing devices, or browser maintenance can remove it. Export a wheel file when you need a separate copy.

We use reasonable safeguards for information handled by the site, but no website, browser storage, or network transmission is completely secure. Locally stored wheel data remains until you delete it, clear site data, or the browser removes it. Technical and analytics information is retained according to operational needs and the applicable provider configuration.

Your choices and rights

You can delete locally stored wheel data through the wheel controls or your browser's site-data settings. You can also use browser privacy settings or content-blocking tools to limit analytics requests. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information we control, including access, correction, deletion, or objection. Contact us to make a request. Because the service has no accounts, we may not be able to associate anonymous technical data with you.

Information handled by service providers may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, those providers are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
